An ambitious three year collaboration will develop a solution to the problem of prohibitively low energy density of polymer film dielectric capacitors, which frustrates their integration into high power converters and inhibits progression to an all-electric future.
A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (IUK#11296) with Dr Emiliano Bilotti at Queen Mary University of London is developing DG Innovate’s concepts into prototype devices which will be matured in partnership with the Compound Semiconductor Applications Catapult in Cardiff Bay.
